AutoCAD Drafting of Civil Site and Infrastructure Projects Technician

The ideal candidate shall have a minimum of 5 years experience in AutoCAD drafting of civil site and infrastructure projects. The candidate shall be responsible for the preparation of construction drawings for projects, including but not limited to site plans, grading and drainage plans, roadway alignment, plan and profiles, cross sections, traffic control, earthwork calculations, water distribution, sanitary sewer collection systems, storm sewer design, intersection layouts and utilization of applicable standard details based on municipality. Candidate shall understand principles of Network Administration and be able to coordinate/assist with office Information Technology related components of running the office. 
 

Education/Experience/Licensing: 

• Minimum 5 years experience and highly proficient with AutoCAD
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D surface generation
• Experience working with boundary, topographic, wetland and tree surveys
• Experience coordinating with Architects, Mechanical, Electrical and PlumbingDesigners
• Experience in Commercial and Site Residential Land Development Projects
• Experience in linear work such as roads, water and sewer projects
• Preparation of geometric site plans
• Preparation of plan and profile drawings using Civil3D
• Plan view generation of contoured grading plans
• Preparation of conceptual yield analysis plans

• Proficient with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
