Senior Professional Engineer- Civil Engineer (Drainage, Utilities, Land Development)

 The ideal candidate shall have between 5-10 years experience in design and/or drafting of civil site and infrastructure projects. The candidate shall be responsible for the preparation of calculations and redline construction drawings on multiple projects. Design shall include but be not limited to site plans, grading and drainage plans, roadway alignment, plan and profiles, cross sections, traffic control, earthwork calculations, water distribution, sanitary sewer collection systems, storm sewer design, and intersection layouts. The candidate will analyze survey, topography, field notes, sketches, photos and other project specific materials to identify potential project constraints and best approach in developing and completing projects. They will perform design calculations and prepare specifications and provide redline drawings, sketches and notes for review by the supervising Professional Engineer. Applicant shall be proficient in the AutoCAD Civil 3D computer program. 

Education/Experience/Licenses: 

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree from ABET accredited University 
• Engineer Intern license preferred with ability to obtain Professional Engineers License within one year. 
• Experience with computer drafting software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D 

Skills and Special Requirements: 

• Complete various hydraulic, stormwater, and other water resources related technical evaluations under supervision of Professional Engineer 
• Be responsible for performing design, computations, and evaluations generally associated with the design of sanitary sewer collection systems 
• Assisting with project management and administration associated with appointed tasks 
• Ability to read topographic maps and grading plans 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word 
• Excellent written and communication skills 
• Strong organization, time management, and coordination skills
